The idea for the work is based on the form of the catalog for the BMA 2000 exhibition at the Neuer Aschaffenburger Kunstverein. It was produced as a BOD (Book on Demand). This format is characterized by rapid availability and minimal up-front costs for the author and low production and storage costs for the publisher, as each individual book copy is only produced after the order has been placed. The only restriction is that the inside pages can only be printed in black and white. The wall piece shows a small section of the source code of a color image. By printing the file describing the image in the catalog rather than the image itself, it is possible to publish a color image in the catalog.
